Scrolling Girl

Less Scroll, More Oomph!
For almost 90 years, the iconic “Skipping Girl” sign has stood as a symbol of childhood vitality. But today, Aussie kids spend almost three times longer scrolling on small screens than they do engaging in physical activity, harming their physical and mental wellbeing*. To provoke conversation and change, the “Skipping Girl” sign will be switched off and Scrolling Girl switched on, launching a national campaign by Dairy Farmers to bring Oomph back to kids.
*Scrolling Girl Research' was conducted online by YouGov Australia (3 - 12 March 2026) among parents/guardians of children aged 6-17. Commissioned by Dairy Farmers data weighted to represent all Australian adults 18+
